Techland, the studio behind the zombie survival parkour mash-up franchise Dying Light, is giving out a bonus to owners of the original experience just as the final update is hitting the classic. Dying Light Standard Edition owners are getting a free upgrade that makes their version the Enhanced Edition.
While the Enhanced Edition sounds more like a small update with perhaps graphics upgrades by today's standards, this edition actually comes with all the season pass content and more. This includes the massive Dying Light The Following expansion, The Bozak Horde game mode, Cuisine & Cargo DLC, as well as Crash Test Skin Pack and Ultimate Survivor Bundle of outfits and weapons.
Standard Edition owners only have to launch Dying Light and select the "DLC Packs" option on the main menu to gain access to all the new goodies. Players across all platforms are invited to this offer moving forward, so nobody is being left behind.
The Following expansion included here brings with it a whole new storyline and region where Kyle Crane's story continues outside of the original game's walls. In addition to the new map that is larger than the base game's, a customizable buggy is also provided to players for easy traveling across open environments.
