Today Namco Bandai have announced that Tekken 6 would be finding its way onto the PSP this year, but giving that news enough time to make its way around, they then announced that a PSP version of Soul Calibur would also be arriving.
Tekken 6 for the PSP will be released at the same time as the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game that are scheduled for the end of this year.
The game will come with some additional content that includes some stages, items and will include an ad-hoc multi-player mode.
As a new addition, a "Ghost" infrastructure mode has been added that allows a player to upload their data that can then be downloaded by others to compare their skills.
Soul Calibur, subtitled Broken Destiny, will be a PSP exclusive version of Soul Calibur 4. It will come with all the usual characters that have been built up over the last few games, but will be ditching the Star Wars exclusive characters from the 4th iteration and will add a new character by the name of Dampiere.
Broken Destiny will come with the character creation tools that have been in place for a number of the games, and will come with the usual set of modes, Arcade, Versus and Survival along with a new single-player mode that is aimed to help those new to the game to learn how everything works.
It will feature the armour destruction and critical finish features that were introduced in Soul Calibur 4, and as a new feature for level section, you will be able to set the time of a level letting you play at different times of the day.
Broken Destiny like Tekken 6 will also come with Ad-Hoc support for the title allowing you to play wireless multi-player and it is also mentioned that Infrastructure mode might be possible in the future.
Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny will be arriving some time this summer.
