After months of the unlocked model and weeks of the AT&T version of the Lumia 640 XL being out of stock, we reported on Monday that all of them were suddenly once again being sold in the online Microsoft Store. By the next day, the unlocked variant had already sold out, as well as the black AT&T device.
As of today, all variants of the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL are once again listed as out of stock in the Microsoft Store. The news shouldn't come as a shock to anyone (having them in stock again was more surprising), as the devices will be two-years-old in March.
Sporting a quad-core Snapdragon 400, 5.7-inch HD display, 13MP rear camera with a 1/3-inch sensor and f/2 aperture, and a 5MP front camera, the handset was still a deal at $99 for the AT&T version or even $149 for the unlocked model. Sadly, if you didn't jump on it over the last couple days, it would appear that your only options now are third-party sites.
Of course, if Microsoft does decide to replenish its stock of the devices again, we'll let you know right here.
