The Canvas Infinity Pro offers dual front-facing cameras, costs around $217

As 2017 comes to a close, Micromax has announced its latest handset in the form of the Canvas Infinity Pro. While the name looks like a mouthful, the price is actually quite appealing coming in at Rs. 13,999, which is around $217 USD with current conversion rates.

As you can tell from the image, the Canvas Infinity Pro offers a 18:9 display, something that has become increasingly common this year. It measures in at 5.7 inches and has a resolution of 720 x 1440. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, with 4GB RAM, and has 64GB of internal storage.

The device has a 16MP rear camera, along with a 20MP and 8MP front-facing cameras. That's right, this phone has dual camera sensors on the front and not the rear. Along with the cameras, the smartphone will have a 3,000mAh battery that should be able to get it through a day.

Despite its wealth of offerings, this clearly isn't a handset meant to compete with top-tier flagships, but it does give folks on a budget a sample of the high-end experience. If interested, the phone will be available from Flipkart in India starting on December 6.
