Insta360 has only been around for a few years but has already delivered plenty of devices and has partnered with large companies to offer products that revolve around 360-degree photography. The Insta360 Nano made its debut two years ago and now the firm has announced a successor in the form of the Insta360 Nano S.
The product was available for a hands-on at CES and is still just as compact as its predecessor. The 360-degree camera can shoot 4K 360-degree videos, capture 20MP still images, and connects to your iPhone via its Lightning port. According to the firm, the Nano S will also introduce new features like "360-degree Video Chat and the new MultiView feature – allowing users to show multiple angles of a scene simultaneously and share them via a live broadcast or one-on-one chat".
Furthermore, the camera can be used as a stand-alone device, storing images to a memory card. The camera can record for up to 70 minutes when in stand-alone mode. Those interested can now purchase the Insta360 Nano S for $239 directly from the company's website in either Black or Silver. The camera will also be made available through Amazon at a later date.
