- Quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor
- 1GB RAM
- 8GB onboard storage (plus microSD support up to 128GB)
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
- Bluetooth 4.0
- NFC
- 4G LTE connectivity
- Ambient light sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, magnetometer and SensorCore
- Replaceable 2500mAh battery
The 640 and 640 XL are also the first two handsets to launch with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 pre-installed, which brings with it Bluetooth keyboard compatibility and the option to pin settings.
The Lumia 640 is available today for 11,999 INR ($193) but will only be available via India's leading online retailer, FlipKart, while the Lumia 640 XL is available for 15,799 INR ($254) through most online and offline retailers. Both devices will also include a one-year subscription of Office 365 Personal worth 3,299 INR ($53) while the 640 XL will also enjoy exclusive offers from MobiKwik and Ola Cabs.
