Warner Bros. sets the price of its film-inspired MMORPG at $49.99, with subscriptions going for $14.99 per month.
With The Matrix Online's US launch just over a month away, many PC gamers have been wondering how much they'll have to shell out to jack into the sci-fi-film-inspired massively multiplayer role-playing game. Today, Sega and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the pricing scheme for The Matrix Online. The game itself will cost $49.99, with WBIE charging a subsequent monthly subscription fee of $14.99 to players. The pricing is the same as that of other new MMORPGs, such as EverQuest II and World of Warcraft.
