Last month, HTC unveiled its latest flagship phone, the '10' - although there wasn't a great deal left to announce, following weeks of leaked images and details about the device.
As in the US, where the 10 is priced at $699 SIM-free, pre-orders have been available for the device in the UK for some time too. HTC has said that the new phone will be released in 'early May', but it looks like we now have a firm release date.
As GSM Arena notes, Three UK had previously stated that the handset would be available from May 6. Now, Amazon UK has updated its listing for the 10 as well, stating that it will be released on the same date:
Meanwhile, Carphone Warehouse is still offering pre-orders promising delivery in '10-13 days':
The HTC 10 is priced at £569 SIM-free and unlocked in the UK. It will also be available on 24-month contracts priced from around £40 a month with no upfront cost for the handset.
