Video game franchises turned to movies is undoubtedly a heavily-desired frontier for movie studios. Since popular franchises like Halo, Zelda or World of Warcraft, which has a movie incoming, have such large followings, they're ripe for instant fandom and large social media exposure if a studio decides to put one of these game worlds onto the big screen. Now, one of the most iconic game franchises of the last decade or so not only has a first movie trailer, but also a release date.
Revealed during the Jimmy Kimmel Live show late last night, the very first Assassin's Creed movie trailer is now available for viewing.
