There wasn't too much new that was shared during Square Enix's E3 Showcase for 2018, with most of the games having been shown previously over the past year or at Microsoft's Xbox event. Despite there being very little information about the game, Square Enix did manage to show off a short trailer for a previously unannounced game called The Quiet Man.
The game looks to take place in New York and will focus on a young man who could be some sort of vigilante. The young man, who could be deaf, steps into a dark alley where he picks a fight against a gang of folks that were minding their own business. The trailer transitions from live action to computer graphics during the fight, and back to live action once the fight is over, with the words "silence rings loudest" popping up onto the screen. In one of the last scenes, we can see the main character placing what appears to be his leftovers from dinner onto one of the faces of the fallen, perhaps as some sort of consolation prize for the battle.
There is more information for the game being promised in August. The title will be made available for the PlayStation 4 and Steam for PC when it launches. If you want to watch the whole presentation yourself, you can always check out the video on the Square Enix website. If you want to check out the trailer for The Quiet Man, it's embedded right above.
