Popular tabloid newspaper, The Sun has announced it is to offer exclusive movie content for the PSP. The exclusive content includes video trailers for upcoming titles and movies. Currently visitors to The Sun's website can access exclusive footage from Optimum's Wolf Creek, due to hit the silver screen on September 16th.
"We are always looking for new and exciting ways to deliver content to our users and this is a natural progression for us," said The Sun Online's Danny Rogers speaking to reporters. "We were the first national newspaper website to offer streamed TV news and showbiz bulletins with our partner PA and now we are the first to give our readers exclusive free Sony PSP downloads with the release of Wolf Creek."
The Sun has also started selling PSP wallpapers from its sister site Page3.com priced at £1 for a bundle of 12 and is likely to offer additional content that can be taken advantage of by the PSP. The move comes after The Sun devoted itself to the PSP movement by sending a trio of Page 3 girls to the launch of the PSP at Game's Oxford Street store to celebrate the launch of the handheld.
