Alcatel unveiled the IDOL 4S with Windows 10 back in November as a T-Mobile exclusive, but a couple of months later, the company launched an unlocked model that is sold in the Microsoft Store. Normally, the handset costs $470, but Microsoft is currently selling it for an even $400, which is 15% off of its regular price.
This is the first major discount that the unlocked model has received; however, the original T-Mobile variant has been marked down to $288 (or $12 per month for 24 months), which is an excellent price if you're in the market for a powerful Windows phone with a Snapdragon 820 chipset, a 5.5-inch 1080p OLED display, 64GB of storage, and 4GB of RAM.
Microsoft's $400 price tag will last until the end of the month, or more specifically, 11:59pm PT on April 30. You can buy it right here, but before you do, you should check out our detailed review of the phone. We found that it's one of the best Windows phone options available, but the camera falls short.
