Back in February, LG launched the Watch Sport and Watch Style. The Sport model offers cellular connectivity, and pre-orders were offered through AT&T and Verizon; however, over the last few days, those who pre-ordered the device through the latter began receiving emails that the product has been canceled.
The folks over at Droid-Life received word from the carrier that the Watch Sport has indeed been canceled, although it wasn't able to obtain word from LG.
Listings for the Verizon variant have been removed from both the carrier's and LG's website. If you want one, your only option is the AT&T model, which can be obtained from AT&T for $249.99 or from the Google Store for $349.
We've been using the LG Watch Sport for the past few weeks and have found it to be impressive and stylish, if a bit thick. Make sure to check back into Neowin in a couple weeks when we'll have a full review of the device published.
