After Apple announced its new handsets earlier in the week, pre-orders for the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max started early this morning. In the past, if you missed out on staying up late to get in your order, it meant waiting months just to get your phone. But this year, things are different.
While in the past there were monstrous wait times for pre-orders that were secured only hours after the initial pre-order launch, this year, the times are much more manageable, suggesting that either Apple is doing a better job managing its production numbers or not many people are interested in the new phones. While the iPhone Xs Max has a one to two week wait time currently, the iPhone Xs is still readily available for delivery on the day of release.
If you have yet to pre-order, you can always do so through your preferred wireless carrier, favorite retailer or through Apple. As stated before, as of now, going through Apple, you're looking at pretty decent delivery dates, despite not being the first to put in a pre-order. The iPhone Xs and Xs Max will be released on September 21.
