You could argue that the HP Elite x3 is currently the poster boy for Microsoft's Windows 10 Mobile OS. Whether or not the Elite x3 is one of the few flagship devices released this year, it's a great mobile, with just as capable specs and a reasonably steep price point to boot.
Today, HP has released a third firmware update for the device; however, it is unknown at this stage what the new update introduces or fixes. As with most firmware updates, you can probably expect performance and battery optimizations as well small improvements across the board.
Daniel Rubino from Windows Central notes that the update doesn't appear to introduce any notable differences. However, we have reached out to HP for a full changelog and will update the article once we hear more.
In any case, it is refreshing to see HP committed to releasing firmware updates, and supporting the Elite x3 as the company continues to have close relations with Microsoft.
Keep posted for more news about the firmware update, and our review of the HP Elite x3 coming this weekend!
Update: HP has now released a changelog to Neowin.
