It revealed a Halo 5: Guardians-themed version of its 1TB Xbox One, which will get a limited-edition release later this year. With a much more adventurous exterior design than the standard console, the Halo version comes in a bundle which also includes:
- Matching new-generation wireless controller with integrated 3.5mm audio jack
- Spartan-themed SteelBook case with Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition full game download
- Guardian model by Metal Earth
- Halo: The Fall of Reach animated series
- Spartan Locke's Classified Orders
- Exclusive DLC: Warzone REQ Bundle, FOTUS-class armor, and multiplayer emblem
- Chat headset
- HDMI cable
- Power cable
- 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial
The new console bundle will be available on October 20th - a week before the game itself is released - but pre-orders are now open, priced at $499.
Earlier today, Microsoft revealed that its new user experience "powered by Windows 10" will arrive for the Xbox One in November, and will include support for Cortana - and the new limited edition console looks like it could be the perfect home for Microsoft's digital 'personal assistant' in your living room.
