This Weekend's PC Game Deals: GOG's discount spree for DRM-free titles continues

This Weekend's PC Game Deals is a roundup of games - old, new, or soon to be released - that are available at a great price and can be activated on Steam, Origin, or Uplay - sometimes even good old games that are DRM-free.

AAA games with stunning visuals and physics may be all the rage these days, but there are lots of timeless classics that are still worth playing - and thanks to Origin Store’s “On the House” promotion, you can get some of them free of charge. You can now grab Dungeon Keeper, a strategy game that was well received when it launched in 1997. There's no word on how long this offer will last, so make sure to take advantage of it sooner rather than later.

If you're looking for something a little more modern, then you should definitely check out this month's free UBI 30 title, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. A spin-off of Ubisoft's popular Far Cry 3, Blood Dragon is an interesting blend of 80s retrofuturism and first-person shooter satire that breaks away from the mold of super-realism, instead aiming to be a fun and bold experiment that too many publishers are afraid to do these days.

If you find yourself wanting to get deeper into the Far Cry experience, Ubisoft is now offering it at a discount. Depending on how deep you want to go down the rabbit hole, you can grab the Bronze Pack (Far Cry 1, 2 and 3) for just $9.99 (€9.99/£9.99). The Silver Pack also includes Far Cry 4 for an additional $9.99, and the Gold Pack gets you access to the full Far Cry experience (including Far Cry: Primal) for a steeper total of $44.99 (€44.99/£44.99).

The Humble Store has a pretty nice deal going this weekend if you're looking to buy bundles of games from publishers such as Activision, Square Enix, TellTale Games and SEGA. It's called 'Build Your Own Bundle', and it lets you do just that, but the really neat thing about it is that you're getting a progressively deeper discount as you add more games:

• 80% off for 3 games
• 83% off for 4 games
• 85% off for 5 or more games

The discount applies to the full price of the games, and 10% of what you pay will go to a charity.
