Three creates Binge Club for TV bingeing Brits

Episode one of Three’s new YouTube series, Binge Club, is due to air on the evening of October 31st. The topic will be Stranger Things 2 and is expected to be spoiler-packed, so you’ll have to make sure you’ve seen the entire season before tuning into Binge Club - that gives you about four days to watch all nine episodes if you want to tune into Binge Club live.

In its statement, Three says:

“Each show will be hosted by a different fan-favourite social influence. Like the modern-day equivalent of the classic book club, Three’s Binge Club will bring together enthusiastic bingers across the UK to enable a no-holds barred conversation about hit programmes of the moment […] The first Binge Club will centre on the Netflix original Stranger Things 2 and be hosted by YouTube sensation Wall of Comedy, who will lead a lively discussion on the latest plot developments and craziest fan theories around the latest season.”

The main inspiration for launching the new Binge Club were statistics which revealed that two-thirds of Brits admit to having watched an entire TV series in one sitting, and another one-in-five saying that bingeing is the only way to watch shows now.

The new Binge Club will undoubtedly be used to promote Three’s several-month-old Go Binge service which allows customers to stream from selected services, including Netflix, without it impacting their data allowance.
