With last month's Colony Reborn free DLC already in the hands of players, Respawn Entertainment has now detailed what's in the upcoming free content drops for Titanfall 2. The game was heralded by many critics and fans alike as one of the best shooters of 2016, with the developer's continued free updates giving further incentive for players to stick around.
A new blog post, although lacking any specifics, has outlined what will arrive for the shooter between the months of April and June. In the coming months, players can expect to see two new maps that are compatible with most game modes, a pair of Live Fire game mode exclusive maps, Prime Titan variations for Ronin and Tone, and coming as perhaps the most exciting new addition, a brand new Titan.
Furthermore, there are some less flashy, but still important general updates in the works, such as a level cap increase, a new game mode titled 'Marked for Death', additional Pilot executions, improvements to matchmaking, along with more cosmetic items procurable through microtransactions, and more.
Respawn has promised more details on features mentioned above as they get closer to release, and it's safe to say, that the developer doesn't look like they are preparing to drop Titanfall 2 support anytime soon.
