Tokyo Court Asks Regulator for Intel Evidence - AMD

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. said on Friday a Tokyo court asked Japan's antitrust regulator to hand over evidence on Intel Corp.'s business practices in Japan, providing potential ammunition for AMD's court cases against Intel. AMD Japan in June filed two suits against Intel's Japan unit, seeking $55 million in damages from the world's largest chip maker for alleged violations of the country's antitrust laws.
