Top Cow Production, makers of the Tomb Raider comic revealed today in a company press release that Tomb Raider 7 will be out in Summer 2005. The company mentioned that they are going to wind down Volume 1 of its comic in January 2005 and relaunch with Volume 2 simultaneously with the videogame release.
"Once we spoke with Eidos and realized they were changing Lara Croft up quite a bit it seemed a prudent course to wrap up what we're doing now and prepare for the newer version sometime late next year," says Top Cow President Matt Hawkins.
Top Cow still plans to release Tomb Raider specials and one-shots throughout the down time between Volume 1 and 2. We contacted Eidos Interactive to get an official wording on the release date, but all we received was a "No Comment".
