Twitch announced today the beta release of Twitch Studio to macOS. The Amazon-owned company touts the new software as a go-to streaming service for newbie content creators.
The service was initially introduced in November of last year to Windows. Twitch has since been working on new features for the beta version including the ability for streamers to change their background with a one-click green screen setup. It also features Chroma and Vulkan Game captures. There are built-in alerts and chat integration as well.
Twitch Studio is designed to detect the hardware you're using and provide recommended settings for a quick setup process. You can also share audio from your browser or PC directly to your stream. In addition, there's an option to create different layouts like a full-screen webcam design to chat with your community. You can also add multiple audio devices to customize your stream sound.
If you want to connect your iPhone or iPad, you can share that screen to your stream. Twitch Studio Beta's macOS release comes after the company's consultation with creators. The service promises to roll out more customization options in the future.
