Even with a new game in development, Two Point Studios is continuing to support its 2018-released hospital building and management game Two Point Hospital. The Sega-owned studio today announced Speedy Recovery, a new expansion for the PC version that brings in unorthodox ambulances as a new feature, alongside new illnesses, locations, and more.
The ambulances are a part of a new game mode, where players will be dispatching an array of vehicles — like the Pantomobile or Airloovator — towards incidents all across Two Point County efficiently. Players will be competing against other hospitals and their own weird ambulances to grab the most patients for treatment and profit.
Also included in the expansion are three new hospital locations that will introduce the ambulance mechanics, three fully animated treatment machines for the new Under The Weather, Hive Mind, and Snow Problem ailments, 19 new illnesses in total, as well as a number of room decoration items matching the expansion's content and themes.
Two Point Hospital 'Speedy Recovery' expansion launches March 15 with a $8.99 price tag, though pre-purchasing it on Steam or Microsoft Store will net fans a 10% discount. Two Point Studios is also working on Two Point Campus, a new entry focused on the university life of students, and it will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.
