Ubisoft wrapped up the closed beta of Ghost Recon Breakpoint earlier this month, which only gave pre-order customers and Uplay+ subscribers access. But now, an open beta has been revealed and it is coming next week, giving anyone the opportunity to try out a slice of the cooperative title before the full release.
The Ghost Recon Breakpoint open beta will kick off on September 26 across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, with the servers slated to stay open until September 30. Preloading will be available on September 24 to make sure interested players don't miss out on any playtime.
Even those who jumped into the closed beta may not want to miss out on the open session, as Ubisoft is putting in some more content for players to beat both in coop and solo modes. There will be six regions to explore this time, as opposed to the four from before, along with three more missions from the main storyline, adding up to five total. The Auroa and Faction side missions are returning also.
For the first time, the head to head multiplayer mode Ghost War will be available in this beta for testing purposes as well. The four included maps for Ghost War will be playable in the standard Elimination game mode.
Ubisoft is urging players who participate to share feedback on the game's official forums and subreddit. Those on PC wondering if they will be able to run the open beta can head over here to see the Ghost Recon Breakpoint system requirements.
