Ubisoft giveaways don't show up often, but they tend to be something interesting. Today, the company announced that its winter sports game Steep is being given away for free on PC via its Uplay client for the next five days.
Released in 2016, the title features various of winter and extreme sports events to experience in a multiplayer open-world environment. Players can go skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, and even use wingsuits in the base game while competing or just free roaming.
Expansions that add Rocket Wings and base jumping, more mountain ranges, as well as content from the Olympic Winter Games are also available, but they aren't part of today's giveaway and must be purchased separately.
Steep normally goes for $29.99, but as part of the giveaway, anyone with a Uplay account can claim the game and jump in right now for free. The promotion will come to an end on May 21, so be sure to grab a copy before then.
