Way back in 2006 a supposedly authentic Ubisoft release schedule was 'leaked', which detailed a number of unannounced titles including Tom Clancy's Firehawk and Ghost Recon 4. One of the games on the list was Alive, which according to the 'schedule' was being developed for Xbox 360, PlayStation3, and PC. At the time, Ubisoft responded with a no comment, but today a greater level of authenticity can be given to the list thanks to comments from Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.
Speaking to the International Herald Tribune, Guillemot spoke about Alive for the first time, describing it as "...more oriented toward drama, more life in characters, more depth...It's still about surviving, but you can't resolve things by shooting only." An official press release is yet to be made by Ubisoft, but if the publisher's man at the top is talking about it, then it's proof enough.
