BBC News is reporting that UK mobile operator 02 has launched a trial for technology which will allow mobile users to watch TV on their handsets. The technology is called DVB-H, which stands for digital video broadcasting - handheld. It differs from the current 3G service, which can be prone to problems with signal strength and coverage. This new technology has been designed to work with limited battery life and screen size.
During the trial, 16 channels will be availabe, including BBC One, BBC Two, ITV One & Two and Channel 4. Neowin would like to know what you think of the future of mobiles.
