A few days ago HTC sent out the official press invites for an event it has planned for March. The company is expected to unveil the long-rumored HTC M9, also known as Hima, and a few details about the device’s specs have now been apparently confirmed.
While the upcoming flagship’s internals have been debated since the end of last year when a few leaks made them public, Bloomberg is now quoting an unnamed source who has apparently confirmed some of the previous rumors.
According to this report, the HTC One M9 will indeed be called the M9 and will offer very impressive specs such as a 20-megapixel camera alongside an UltraPixel front facing camera, such as the one recently unveiled on the Desire phones.
As previously rumored, the handset will be powered by an eight-core Snapdragon 810 processor and will come in familiar shades of gold, gray and silver.
The report also goes on to mention that HTC will also unveil its long-rumored smartwatch which had been reportedly killed, or at least delayed, a while ago. Not much is known about the device at this point except that it apparently integrates with the Under Armour fitness service.
We’ll have to wait and see what the final devices looks like and what they can do, but the way things are shaping up, the upcoming One looks like a treat for smartphone enthusiasts.
