Today, Vaio announced a couple of new Windows 10 laptops, the SX12 and the SX14. The main difference between the two is the size, as the SX12 has a 12.5-inch screen while the SX14 is 14 inches. The big deal about them is that they're super-light, combined with the fact that they're offered with an Intel Core i7-10710U.
The Intel Core i7-10710U is from the Comet Lake family, and it's the first U-series hexa-core processor from the firm. The SX12 weighs in at 1.97 pounds, while the SX14 is 2.32 pounds, according to the announcement.
And in true Vaio fashion, they come in pretty colors. Standard colors include pink and silver, but Vaio also has "Editions". These include all-red, all-black, and all-brown (exclusive to the SX14). They also have packaging to match their colors.
Starting at $1,199 for either model, you can configure them with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of on-board storage. The 14-inch variant has an option for a 4K display as well. If you want to check out the products, you can find the SX12 here and the SX14 here. They're available now.
