Vodafone launches new GPS pet tracking pack to its IoT range

Vodafone has announced the launch of a new pet tracker pack comprising of its Curve smart GPS tracker and a new pet tracker clip. Customers will be able to use the Vodafone Smart App to track their pet which will come in handy if they get lost or if you're just really interested in knowing where your cat wanders off to.

Using the new clip, you can attach the Curve securely to your pet’s collar while not causing discomfort to the animal. If you’d like to know when your pet performs certain actions, you can set the companion app to give you custom notifications, additionally, the app can give you directions to your pet’s location.

Commenting on the new Curve pack, Max Taylor, Consumer Director, Vodafone UK, said:

‘With pet ownership rocketing over the past year, it’s more important than ever to feel confident that your pet is kept safe. With the new Curve Pet Tracker you can keep track of your pet wherever they are. We’re continually developing our smart technology range, and hope this latest addition brings some added peace of mind for our customer’s pets.’

The pet pack can be bought in two colours, dove or slate. The pack will set you back £36 but if you already own the Curve tracker you can pay £12 for the clip to fasten the curve to your pet’s collar. A subscription for Curve will be required for the connectivity, this costs £3 per month on a 24-month contract.
