Do you live in the US and want to get your hands on "The new iPad"? Do you want to go to a store and pick it up nearly eight hours before anyone else in the country can get their hands on it? Finally, do you have a Walmart nearby that's open 24 hours? If so, you might want to consider going over to that store right now.
News.com reports that Walmart locations that are normally open 24 hours will begin selling Apple's third generation iPad tablet at 12:01am in the stores' respective time zones. A Walmart spokesperson says that, naturally, supplies of The new iPad will be limited. Also, the numbers of the six different types of iPads will vary from store to store, so keep that in mind before you head over to your local Walmart location.
Walmart stores that are not open 24 hours will begin selling "The new iPad" starting at 8am in their respective time zones. As we reported earlier, Apple retail stores will also open their doors at 8am Friday to begin sales of the tablet in the US, along with a number of other retail outlets such as Best Buy, Radio Shack, Sam’s Club and Target.
