The delayed 'Not a Hero' DLC for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard finally received a release date earlier this month. Today at the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom gave everyone a short look at some gameplay from the upcoming DLC, seen above.
Judging by the footage, the gameplay seems much more action-oriented than the fantastic horror themes we saw in the base game. But, considering its Resident Evil series veteran Chris Redfield at the helm this time, the change makes sense.
Redfield is toting a heads up display rigged helmet, along with plenty of firepower to put down the mutated creatures that come at him, including a shotgun, pistol, grenades, and of course, the all-powerful fist. It is not entirely clear how this DLC will tie into the base game's storyline, however, with the appearance of the same moldy enemies, the events should be connected.
'Not a Hero' will be available free of charge to all Resident Evil 7: Biohazard owners on December 12. Meanwhile, a Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition that is carrying the base game, the Banned Footage volumes, and the new 'End of Zoe' DLC will also be available on December 12.
