Today, Huawei is holding an event in Munich, and as you can see from the screenshot above, the company has let the cat out of the bag that it will be announcing its newest flagship handset, the Mate 10. The event kicks off at 2pm Central European Summer Time (CEST), or 8am Eastern Time, and if you want to watch it, you can do so right here.
Last year, we reviewed the Mate 9 and found it to be an excellent device, giving it an 8.5 out of 10. The only issues were a few with the camera, such as that it uses HEVC to record video, and therefore the files weren't compatible with a lot of apps and services, like YouTube.
At the time of writing this, we're now only 10 hours from seeing what Huawei will offer in its latest generation of flagships, although it will likely use the company's new in-house Kirin 970 chipset that it announced at IFA in Berlin last month.
