Microsoft’s Ignite conference will be kicking off shortly, at 8:30 AM ET, in Atlanta, Georgia. The business and professional-oriented conference is expected to focus on productivity tools and the cloud, so expect plenty of Office 365 and Azure news. You can watch the opening keynote live right here.
Ignite brings a number of conferences into a single event, where Microsoft’s business partners and clients can get together and check out what’s next for the company in these fields. Taking the stage at the opening keynote will be Scott Guthrie, Executive Vice President at Microsoft. According to the official schedule, Guthrie will focus on new technologies that are transforming the way we work and communicate.
Later on today, there will be panels and sessions on enterprise security, application development, Office 365, Windows 10 in the enterprise, and Microsoft’s work on the IoT segment.
Finally, the first day of Ignite will close out with a keynote speech from Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, talking about high-concept and emerging trends in the industry, and how the company is looking at changing productivity over the long term.
As mentioned above you can watch the Ignite keynote stream right here, starting at 8:30 AM ET for the pre-game show, followed by the launch keynote at 9:00 AM ET. And of course, we’ll have all the important news on the main page as well.
