The weekend has arrived, at least for some people. Others are still chained to their desks as we speak but will be able to leave work and enjoy a little time off. As usual, some PC game download sites are offering some cool price cuts on some of their titles in their library this weekend.
Over at Valve's Steam service, they have a weekend sale of nearly all of the games they sell from Ubisoft. All of the games involved in the sale are priced down 33 percent off no matter what for the entire weekend. In addition, each day some games will get bigger price cuts. From now until 1 pm Eastern time on Saturday, the games From Dust, Rayman Origins and Shoot Many Robots are on sale for 50 percent off via Steam.
While the upcoming Ubisoft game Ghost Recon Future Soldier isn't technically on sale on Steam, it does offer a way to get the Deluxe version of the game, with some extra in-game unlocks and maps, for the same price as the regular edition. That will save $5 in the long run.
GoG.com has put a number of classic Electronic Arts games on sale this weekend. Games like the Dungeon Keeper series, the Populus franchise and more are on sale for 50 percent off their normal, and already low, GoG.com price.
GameStop has sales for a number of their PC downloadable games this weekend, including The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim for $39.99, a $20 reduction in its normal price.
GameFly has the original Torchlight on sale for just $3.75, a 75 percent savings, this weekend. GamersGate has the 2010 version of Medal of Honor on sale for just $5.99 this weekend. Finally, Amazon.com has sales of a large number of PC downloadable games from now until May 29th, including BioShock 1 and 2 in a bundle for just $7.49.
