Weekend PC Game Deals: Bundled up relief and freebies to spare

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

This week's new Humble Bundle is quite a special one, arriving with games and books worth over $1000 in total to raise money for organizations responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Conquer COVID-19 Bundle starts at $30, and you can go as high as you want with that number.

Considering the huge list of games that stand over 40, we can't really list everything here, but some highlights include Into The Breach, Hollow Knight, Superhot, Killing Floor 2, Jackbox Party Pack 2, Worms Revolution, and Magicka, plus a whole lot more. Moreover, if you haven't subscribed to the Humble Choice subscription before, purchasing this Conquer COVID-19 bundle will get you a free month.

The bundle contents have a limited amount of copies to go around, however, so be sure to grab it before some titles start disappearing. The bundle comes to an end on April 7 and 100% of all proceeds go to the charities Direct Relief, International Rescue Committee, Doctors Without Borders, and Partners in Health for causes like "delivering protective gear to safeguard healthcare workers and providing medical care to infected patients."

That Humble Choice subscription we mentioned above is on the spotlight this weekend too, as the included games have refreshed to account for the arrival of April. See the full selection below:

As usual, you can pick three games to keep for $14.99 or up that to nine games for $19.99. Meanwhile, Humble Monthly legacy subscribers may choose 10 games to keep for $12 instead. To echo what we said earlier, if you haven't subscribed to a Choice bundle before, Humble is giving a free month of the special to anyone who purchases the above-seen Conquer COVID-19 bundle.

Epic has certainly gone hard this week regarding giveaways, as you can now add four games to your library permanently.

The two games that have gone free on the weekly schedule are Runic Games' adventure game Hob and Fullbright's exploration title Gone Home. Alongside those, the newly released cooperative title Totally Reliable Delivery Service is also free to claim, offering humorous methods to deliver packages. Meanwhile, the party game Drawful 2 has gone free as well, mirroring the giveaway that's currently happening on Steam.

Hob, Gone Home, and Drawful 2's free promotions will be available until April 9, while you can grab Totally Reliable Delivery Service until April 8. Next week, Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments will arrive as the latest free game.

Free Events

The free weekend promotions ramp once more this weekend. Starting things off is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer. You can try out the complete multiplayer experience of the popular shooter until April 6, available through the new Warzone client on Battle.net.

On Steam we find several more free weekends happening, with the hit cooperative roguelike Risk of Rain 2, Bethesda MMO The Elder Scrolls Online, Paradox-developed grand strategy game Imperator: Rome, and the mech fighting title Override: Mech City Brawl going temporarily free to play.

Big Deals

Alongside a large number of freebies and free events, quite a few popular games are discounted right now too. Meanwhile, Epic Games is running a spring sale on its store, and if you have that old $10 off coupon available still, it can be applied to anything listed above $14.99.

DRM-free Goodness

As is usually the case, there are plenty of DRM-free games having sales this weekend, all alongside a giveaway for SYMMETRY on the front page. See highlights below:

Keep in mind that availability and pricing for some deals may vary depending on the region you're in.

And that is it for our pick of this weekend's PC game deals folks, and hopefully, some of you have enough self-restraint to not add even more games to your growing backlogs this season. Of course, there is an enormous amount of more deals ready and waiting all over the internet if you comb through it hard enough, so keep your eyes open for those, and have a wonderful weekend at home.
