Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.
Starting a new year also has the cool side effect of a brand new month arriving, and that means it's Humble's turn to bring in a refreshed Choice bundle. This is only the second Choice bundle by the store following the Monthly Bundle's end, and it has 12 games to choose from. See the full selection below, and we've attached Steam store links as well.
You can pick up three games from this selection for $14.99, or nine games for $19.99. However, if you have the original Monthly subscription still ongoing without canceling you can get 10 games from the list for $12.
Humble will be replacing these games with a new batch on February 7, giving you over a month to make a choice on what to get.
Epic Games Store celebrated the new year with another giveaway, and this time it included three games. You can now grab Darksiders Warmastered Edition, Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition, as well as Steep for free.
The hack and slash Darksiders duo has you taking the roles of two Horsemen of the Apocalypse, War and Death, as they crash through the forces of heaven and hell. Meanwhile, Steep is the Ubisoft-developed extreme snowsports title, giving you skiing, paragliding, wingsuit flying, and snowboarding activities in a massive open world.
The giveaways will last until Thursday, January 9. It looks like Epic Games is keeping the long-time-running freebie train a thing for 2020 as well, with For The King now slated to be the next game taking the giveaway slot.
Free Events
As the major sale season comes to an end, free events have started back up again. You can now begin playing the full base game of Codemasters' racer GRID - the series reboot that released last year - for free until the end of the weekend, January 6.
