Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.
This week, Humble Bundle has come forth with a strategy game focused bundle, and it has been given the very apt title The Humble Strategy Bundle. This three-tiered bundle has seven games in its grasp, as well as several bonus goodies.
The $1 tier brings along three games, them being Dungeon of the Endless, Endless Space Collection (includes the Disharmony expansion), and Planetary Annihilation. A pattern pack for Company of Heroes 2 is also included.
Meanwhile, if you opt for the 'pay more than average' tier, it adds on Empire: Total War Collection, Endless Legend - Classic Edition, as well as its Tempest DLC. You also get a 66% off discount coupon for Total War: Warhammer.
The third and final tier comes in at $12, and purchasing this gets you Endless Space 2 - Standard Edition, Tooth and Tail, as well as its soundtrack in addition to all the aforementioned games and extras.
Also, don't forget that the current $12 Humble Monthly Bundle has Kerbal Space Program, Dead Rising 4, and Ruiner as early unlocks for May.
Free Events
Bethesda has picked this weekend to have a free event for its renowned RPG, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. If you're one of the few people who haven't already tried the game out, this is a great opportunity to do so. Note that the free weekend is for the game's Special Edition, meaning that all the DLC packs are included as well.
Ubisoft's open-world shooter Ghost Recon Wildlands is also free to play this weekend, with the promotion available on Uplay as well as Steam. The free event has gone online just when Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher has entered the game for a special covert mission.
If you're rather in the mood for a first-person shooter experience, Ballistic Overkill's free Steam weekend may be up your alley. The fast-paced multiplayer shooter's all seven classes, ten maps, and game modes are all available to try out for free this weekend.
And the final game having a free event this weekend is Distrust, a survival strategy title that takes place in an Arctic base. The game is playable solo as well as cooperatively, and features randomly generated maps, heavy weather based survival elements, survivors that are slowly going mad, and even some unknown creatures that drain the life out of characters when they sleep.
