Curling may not be available in Wii Sports itself, but it certainly swept away the competition last night at the British Academy Video Games Awards.
The Nintendo Wii's flagship game stole the show, managing to bag 6 of the 14 awards, including:
- Best Casual Game
- Most Innovative Game
- Best Sports Game
- Best Strategy/Simulation Game
- Best Gameplay
- Best Multiplayer game
Sony's Playstation 3 unfortunately failed to pick up any awards for the 10 categories it was nominated for, even being beaten by it's predecessor the Playstation 2, which managed to walk away with 4 Awards (shared between God of War 2 and Okami).
