Earlier this week, Microsoft pushed out a new build of Windows 10 to Insiders. While the focus of the update is Spartan, there are also a few other changes in this release too.
One update in this release is the battery indicator. As you can see in the image at the top of this page, the battery life indicator has been updated to match the rest of the OS. And before you freak out about how barren this dialog box is, know that this feature will be refined and this is simply the first public look at the updated box.
How do we know Microsoft will update the dialog box further? Well, there is a spelling mistake for starters and it appears to be a bit bare bones by even Microsoft's standards.
Microsoft is updating every aspect of the OS with Windows 10 so that it has one cohesive theme. If there are any other areas that have not been touched yet, it's only a matter of time before they are overhauled as well.
We have been covering everything that is new with build 10049 and if you missed any of our coverage, you can check it out here. If you happen to find anything new in this release, make sure to send us a tip.
Thanks for the tip Bakker!
