The latest Windows 10 Insider Preview for PCs, build 10158, is now rolling out on the Fast ring, and if Microsoft is to be believed, it should be the most stable and polished build so far. Indeed, the range of improvements is so comprehensive that Microsoft hasn't even documented the usual list of 'known issues' in this release.
That's good news for Windows Insiders - but there's even more good news for Insiders who also own Microsoft's Surface 3 or Surface Pro 3 tablets.
Microsoft said today that build 10158 includes a fix for an issue that previously prevented the Surface 3 from upgrading to newer builds. Indeed, the Surface 3 has proven to be a bit problematic for those wanting to install Windows 10 preview builds, but with 10158, this problem should now be fixed.
The company also said that 10158 includes "several fixes that improve battery life with the Surface Pro 3", news that will no doubt be welcomed by owners of that device who have been test driving Windows 10 on it in recent weeks.
If you upgrade to build 10158 on your Surface 3 or Pro 3, be sure to let us know how you get on!
