It's been a usual Tuesday in Windows Insider news. Microsoft released a new build of Windows Server 2019, and there's a new SDK as well. Interestingly, there are also new ISO images of Windows 10 Insider Preview build 17738. The new SDK has the same build number as the Server preview, which is 17744.
Unsurprisingly, there really isn't anything new in this build. The big features of the new SDK are MSIX support and MC.EXE. MSIX still isn't supported in the Store or by the App Certification Kit, which is no surprise. One Redstone 5 apps are being accepted into the Store, MSIX will be supported. This will likely happen when the final SDK is released some time next month.
This SDK can work alongside of other Windows 10 SDKs, meaning that you can use it in a production environment; however, if you compile your app targeting this build, it won't be accepted to the Microsoft Store. Also, this SDK Preview will only work on Windows 10 Insider Preview builds.
