Keeping up with its recent trend, Microsoft has released a new build of the Windows Server Insider Preview to go along with the new Windows 10 build in the Dev channel. This week's build 20185 is now available to download from the Windows Server Insider website, but as usual, there's no changelog to speak of, so it's unclear what's new.
It's been over six months since Microsoft provided a changelog for Windows Server Insider builds, despite having released a few of them in that time. Considering some Windows 10 builds have seen notable changes, it's interesting that the company has nothing to share for the server version of Windows.
In addition to Windows Server, the Windows 10 development tools are also getting updates for Insiders. Build 20180 of the Windows 10 SDK, ADK, and WDK is now available, with the HLK once again being left behind. That one is still on the same build as Windows 10 version 2004, and it's possible that Microsoft won't update until we're closer to the release of a major feature update. Windows 10 version 20H2 won't require a new version of the HLK, so it may be a while before it makes sense to release a new build.
