The number of Bethesda games on the Nintendo Switch increased once again today with the release of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The Switch version was announced last year, and although it has been a long wait, B.J Blazkowicz has finally arrived on the hybrid console.
The award-winning shooter tasks players with liberating America from a Nazi regime, picking up right where the previous game, Wolfenstein: The New Order, left off. However, the absence of the original title on the Switch may make the sequel's story a bit awkward to get into for anyone experiencing the universe for the first time.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is now available fully uncensored (except in Germany and Austria) for purchase on the Switch with a $59.99 price tag. It also arrives with full motion control support on the Joy-Cons and Pro Controllers.
Bethesda had a few new titles to show off during its E3 presentation earlier this month, including Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Rage 2, and Doom Eternal. Although Switch ports were not explicitly announced for the upcoming games, we can expect at least some delayed releases judging by the company's other releases on the Nintendo platform.
