Activision's Matthew Paul talks about the just released super hero action-RPG sequel from developer Raven.
Last year's action-RPG X-Men Legend from developer Raven and publisher Activision was an unexpected hit, so much so that a sequel was quickly announced. This week X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse ships to stores and this time the PS2, Xbox and Gamecube ports will be joined by a PC version and (later in October) a PSP port. Gamecloud got a chance to chat with Activision producer Matthew Paul to find out more about the game.
Gamecloud - First, was Raven and Activision pleased with the reaction that the first X-Men Legends game got?
Matthew Paul - Yes! We knew that we had a special game on our hands, but had no idea it was going to be as successful and as well received as it was. We were just making a game that we, as X-Men fans, loved. It's great that everyone else enjoyed it too.
