Microsoft Xbox 360 has hit another milestone today. As reported by VGchartz, the next generation console has reached sales of 30 million worldwide.
Released on Novemeber 22, 2005, it has taken Microsoft's second gaming console just over three years to reach the mark. While this may not sound significant when comparing it to it's rivals (the Nintendo Wii is currently just under 50 million in sales), this is a nice improvement when comparing it to Microsoft's first entry into the console market, the Xbox, which sold under 20 million in it's lifetime.
Things only look promising for the console as new AAA titles are soon to be released, and new and big announcements are expected to be heard from this year Electronic Entertainment Expo which takes place in June.
