The games heading to Microsoft's Games with Gold program next month were announced today. As always, the games include two Xbox One titles and two Xbox 360 games, with the latter also being available on Xbox One through backward compatibility.
The free games Xbox Live Gold members will get for the month of October are as follows:
Gone Home: Console Edition (Xbox One, October 1 - 31)

Medal of Honor: Airborne (Xbox 360, October 16 - 31)

Meanwhile, for anyone who missed out on this month's Games with Gold titles, Forza Motorsport 5, and Battlefield 3 are available to claim until September 30. Oxenfree still has some time left to go, with it being replaced by The Turing Test on October 16.
Anyone who claims the Xbox 360 games within the specified dates will get to keep them forever, while Xbox One games will only remain playable while the Xbox Live Gold subscription is maintained.
