If you're in the Preview Alpha ring of the Xbox Insider Program, it's once again time to check for updates, as build 15063.3030 is now available. The build string is rs2_release_xbox_1705.170421-1701, meaning that it was compiled on April 21.
It's a preview of version 1705, which is the next feature update for the console. It contains a number of "fan-requested" features, and judging by the version number, should be finalized sometime in May.
This particular build doesn't contain any new features, but there are a couple fixes:
Home
Fixed an issue which could sometimes cause Home to appear as an app in the Guide.Party Overlay
Small black squares should no longer be displayed on screen after using the party overlay.
And these are the known issues:
Minecraft
If an update prompt for Minecraft is dismissed the update cannot be installed from within 'Manage Game'.
Workaround: Accept the title update when prompted.Store
You will be unable to access the Store when the console is set to one of the following language and region configurations: English (Greece), English (Czech Republic), English (Hungary), English (Slovakia). This issue will be resolved in an upcoming update.
Workaround: Set the console to a language and region configuration which is not one of the four mentioned above.
Version 1705 hasn't made its way to the Preview Beta ring just yet, but it shouldn't be too long before it is. After all, it's likely going to be less than a month before this update is available to everyone, so it would seem that Beta Insiders should get it sometime this week or next week.
