A new build is available for Xbox Insiders in the Preview Alpha ring, bringing the build number to 15063.1001, or rs2_release_xbox_1703.170319-1800. For the first time in a while now, that number aligns with the current Windows 10 Insider Previews in the Fast ring.
Microsoft is citing only miscellaneous fixes in today's update, and no, there are no new features. The company did announce some new features that Alpha ring Insiders will be receiving over the next month, but it's going to want to finalize the Creators Update first, which is slated to arrive in just a few weeks now.
Here are the known issues:
Skate 3
Skate 3 may crash to Home after attempting to join a Quick Match.Settings - Display & sound
The Audio output page is under construction and some of the new settings are not yet functional. New support is planned for Dolby Atmos for home theater, Dolby Atmos for headphones, and more in upcoming builds. An announcement will be made when these new features are ready to try out; enabling these settings now will have no effect.Wireless Display
The Wireless Display app fails to launch and immediately crashes to Home.
As you can see, the list of known issues is growing increasingly smaller, as is the case with its PC and Mobile counterparts. Speculation is growing that 15063 is indeed the RTM build that will ship as the Creators Update, and it seems entirely possible. If that's the case, then you'll see this build show up in the Beta and Ring 3 rings, and finally, in Preview Ring 4.
If you're in the Preview Alpha ring, you can grab 15063 by heading over to Settings -> System -> Updates. If not, you can work your way up by completing Surveys and Quests in the Insider Hub.
