Xbox has announced the revival of its old "Jump in" campaign - the catchphrase used in the run-up of the 360's launch in November of 2005 - , with its refreshed edition launching today with four films including Jumping, Friends, Racing, and Everyone. Each unique film features the Xbox community and its game worlds and characters coming together.
In regard to the restored campaign, Craig McNary, Director of Xbox Integrated Marketing, said in a blog post:
Holding true to the roots of Jump in from years past, it reminds us that gaming is all about human energy, community, and fun. It reminds us that we’re all born to play; that the very act of gaming is based on an intrinsic need. It’s how we learn, achieve and connect with others. Today, Jump in is an open invitation to all gamers and Xbox is committed to delivering more choice and to make gaming more accessible to more people with great games, new experiences, and more ways to play.
The campaign is seen as part of Xbox' efforts to work up the console's user base with a renewed promotion on top of a robust lineup of games including Fallout 76, Fortnite, and Forza Horizon 4. You can watch the official promotional video below:
McNary also noted that the Jump in campaign serves as an open invitation to all gamers, with the team promising to roll out more options to make games accessible to a wider set of gamers.
